Who are we?

Founded in 1972 by our Managing Director’s Father Peter Marsden, P S Marsden (Precision Engineers) Ltd, (PSM) has been providing manufacturing services for five decades.

PSM began manufacturing and regrinding form tools and with continual investment, has become a strategic collaborative first choice supplier to leading organisations. PSM share best practice and provide an extended supply chain to the benefit of all interested parties.

PSM specialises in precision sub-contract machining services for the UK and European markets, supplying mechanical test pieces, precision machined components, kits and mechanical assemblies, to leading organisations in the Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence, Motorsport and Power Generation markets.

To strengthen our reliable performance in the manufacture of precision components, we offer a unique complete flexible machining facility, able to produce 1 off prototypes to multiples of 1,000’s.

PSM’s key focus is on enhancing customer satisfaction through customer focus, an engaged team, compliance to relative requirements and continual improvement. This has proven to be the driving force behind our ongoing success.

Our established integrated Business Management System, (BMS) is controlled by a dedicated quality team. The continued investment in people, processes and equipment ensures that our team is frequently assessing our practices to verify that each process is operating efficiently to generate the very highest level of quality. Recognised for this commitment, we are fully accredited to both EN 9100:2018 & BS EN ISO 9001:2015.

Environmental & Health & Safety

Operating in a safe, secure and healthy environment is a right for our team and we believe that being aligned with health and safety obligations is paramount. We enlist the professional services of Ellis Whittam whose consultants support our in-house H&S team. We take a hands on approach to managing and frequently reviewing our working practices, to ensure that we adhere to the industry standards for HSE.
